Oh no doubt. G-Man punched like a ****ing mule. I still remember that night vividly. Was one of the most emotionally charged nights Ive ever experienced in boxing.

You're right, Benn was so determined that night. And McClellan was supposed to destroy him. Thats why you never know in boxing and why Benn would certainly have a chance against Jones.

Whilst he would have had a chance it wouldn't have been much of one if we are talking about prime Jones. I am a fan of both Eubank and Benn, especially Benn, who isn't? But the fact of the matter is that whilst Benn was one hell of a puncher he was too easy to hit.

Also, Roy was not anywhere near as chinny in his prime as he is now or was against Tarver, he could definately take a pretty decent punch. In terms of who would fair better against Jones out of Eubank and Benn I would lean with Benn having a greater chance on the basis of his punching power but I think Roy would probably have stopped him as he was just too easy to hit. I just see Roy landing devestating straight right leads all night.
