      reports surfaced a few years back that an associate of Dave Moretti claimed that Moretti told him that he was paid off for the leonard-hagler fight and that he believed the other judge had received a similar payment. Dave Moretti when contacted admits knowing that person but denies ever making that comment.

      Jose Juan Guerra the other judge later commited suicide over his guilt in that travesty. his son admitted that his father was distraught over taking money for that fight.

        Hagler lost to the great Sugar Ray. It's just Ray pussied out of a rematch. Hagler would have demolished small Ray.
