Harry Greb (260-21-17) was the best middleweight ever. He fought everybody, including people from bigger weight divisions.

Greb has one of the greatest resumes in boxing but many of his greatest wins were at 168/175 lbs, few were actually at 160 lbs. There is no footage of his fights either.
Robinson had his best days at WW and although he had many great wins at MW, he also had his share of losses as he got older.
Monzon and Hagler are very close in resume and skill.
It's not really the word to use when describing Hagler but Marvin was slightly 'flashier' than the unspectacular Monzon which might appeal to many.
He wasn't a murderer either and is more known among American fans.
LaMotta fought and beat all of them but as I said before, his amount of losses drop him from the top 3.
