James Toney beating Michael Nunn although Toney was outboxed for most of the bout.

Tyson had no problem with people who had longer reach that him. Carlos Q showed that Williams can be outboxed with his 82 reach

I used to spar with some guys who had a reach advantage over me, it ****ing sucks man. One dude only had a little longer than me, and I moved and countered so I wasn't running into shots. Worked pretty good, but he still caught me easily if I stood still or stepped inside, although my defense is **** anyway. The other guy was too good for me to box with, so I ended up having to be overly agressive to try to keep him blocking my shots. He was too elusive so I couldn't land and ended up running into counter punches.

So basically, Reach disadvantage sucks ballz. That is all.

Mayweather was an inch or two taller than Hatton at most but he had a long reach advantage. Hatton was being beaten up at a close distance though so he didn't have a chance either way.

I thought Corrales was only 5'10-5'11 with a short reach, either way he certainly doesn't use his height and reach advantages.

Tyson had no problem with people who had longer reach that him. Carlos Q showed that Williams can be outboxed with his 82 reach
Tyson had great timing and defense unlike most come forward fighters.

Williams didn't really use his reach.

Boxer, I mean profession boxer should not have an excuse about someone having a longer reach, they should learn to box on the inside

                      wrong.

guys with longer reach did give him problems.

just because he beat most of the guys that have longer reach doesn't mean it wasn't a problem.

reach is very important. why do you think people always stress it when doing matchups? when matching up 2 boxers they always mention who has the reach advantage or disadvantage.

just because you can overcome that advantage doesn't mean it's not an advantage.
