Anything can happen in boxing to be honest, I would have picked/favoured Pavlik had the fight gone through also. But there is a reason why the bigger guys alway wanted the big chunk of the money...for example oscar asking for 70 to Pacman's 30 even though his 2-3 weight bigger than Pacman.

If pavlik was to lose to hopkins it would do him NO harm because Hopkins has a better name than williams.

I see williams as a low risk - low reward sort of fighter for Pavlik. Pavlik would get no credit for beating him but the chances of him losing is very low, It could happen but the chances are very unlikely.

Hopkins would be the bigger risk because the chances of losing are alot greater against Hopkins than Williams plus if he beat Hopkins it would get more credit especially if he was able to stop Hopkins.

Losing to Williams would be the bigger upset but is not the bigger risk.

i hopkins wins but i think he is going to lose because of old age and his decreasing stamina

i can agree with your prediction.

I think Hopkins chances are alot higher than what people think though.

Williams is the man. I like his style, and I like how he's tightened up on his punches and now has a more bad ass mentality in the ring. That coupled with his excellent boxing skills and freakish fundamentals should make him a problem for anyone between those 13lbs. At WW, let's hope Tony's pride ****s with him and a rematch can be made, though by the looks of it that won't happen because Arum won't risk Paul ruining their parade ahead of the Cotto rematch in June. In the meantime Williams should look at Clottey, he indicated interest in the fight. Those 2 guys probably need each other right now

what?! paul williams is just awkward if he was of normal size he would get battered, beat kelly pavlik?! jeeez, are u ******? pavlik would KO him, as for margarito he had a bad ass night, and started way too slowly, when he started turning on the heat, margarito was winning all the rounds. cotto would break his puny body down. berto is a 50 50 fight, as is clottey, and zab is too small for williams so williams would beat him. how about williams stepping up? cintron been calling him out for ages, and cintron would whoop him convincly.

he's in your sig, that's how and yo to be honest you need to stop sucking Paul Williams **** cuz he ain't the one to watch for. this guys offense IS his defense, this guys defends by throwing so many punches at you that you can't hit him back meaning a ***** whose smart enough to hit him and avoid that 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 punch barrage will kick his ass. that's all he has going for him. it's when he faces off against guys like Cotto that he will be put to the test.

Most of you *******s are all ****suckers who just bandwagon whoever wins a fight anyways, the majority of this whole board amounts to nothing more than a huge piece of kitten **** in a ziplock bag, you are all bunched together and thrown to the den because your opinions mean nothing, they are driven by biased, ******* mentalities driven by nothing but pure hatred and ignorance...

that being said, to say Paul Williams is anything other than a tall ass fighter with little to no skills is obscene, it's disrespectful to legends who killed themselves to uplift boxing, it's a mother****ing shame. Paul Williams is nothing other than an unorthodox counter puncher with height, my cousin Carlos Quintana can tell you that despite his 2nd fight loss, anybody with eyes inside there good for nothing, better off empty skulls can tell you that P Williams ain't ****. you think Andy Kolle is reason enough to suck his ****? not even Margarito is because even in a rematch Margarito can, it was THAT close...

bottom line YOU and any other **** head who see's this any other way is more than welcomed to question me man to man, you are a true derelict for even stating Paul Williams name amongst anything let along top status in any weight.. so you mean to tell me 1st round knocking out a ***** who was NEVER supposed to have beaten you to begin with makes you an un-profiled threat? YOU'RE an *******, Paul Williams still has A LOT to prove in ANY weightclass, he's not what you make him to be you back blown idiot( I mean your preppy little, silver spoon fed ******* blown out by ******s.. plus you ****in ******)..
