For an appropriate purse, do you feel that Williams would fight Pavlik?

      Honestly?

I believe that Williams would give a good account of himself and at least go the distance. When they were negotiating the fight I was going to give PW a good look if the odds were right.

As to your question specifically, I believe Williams would have taken the fight if they met his price. But he wasn't about to step in that deep without getting that number. IMO Arum was sure Pavlik would win and was looking at it as strictly a business proposition.

IMO, P-Dub has been extremely reasonable. So far. Took the Quintana rematch for low bucks. Just tested 160 on a midweek on Versus. Willing to fight Margarito and hasn't made any unreaonable (public) demands.

Let's assume this is the Mayweather of the Hatton fight.

The thing was that the Pavlik fight was meant to be an HBO fight, and there wouldn't be enough money left to satisfy everyone if Williams' price (reportedly over 2 million) was met.

                  Cotto? Never mentioned P-Dub's name

Mosley? was offered a fight. Took Mayorga instead.

Judah? Didn't even want to negotiate.

The only man who has stepped up is Clottey. Even Pavlik exposed his vulva and conveniently opted for the old man.
Because Pwill is taller then ALL of them combined!

That's how a true champion acts, and he sees other champions commenting bout being the best WW, so he feels he wants to defend his own title saying that he is the best WW. No shame in blaming him at all. You guys are tryna **** on his attitude, calling people out, trying to fight. And then again tryna **** on his reach, his weight and "advantages". Quintana schooled him first fight, that reach and height aint mean **** to him. At least this guy calls out people, not these lame quiet fighters we got nowadays and ones who retire to duck them too.
He fought a guy named Koelle dude, does not prove ****, I like Pwill but his ego is getting the worst of him. Pavlik or aa would put him to sleep, I don't want to think about Kessler or Jtaylor getting in the ring with him. I actually was thinking about a fight between him and Santos at 154 would be pretty intriguing.
