Of course the long lay off will affect him. Four years is a long time, VK has been running for mayor and ****. Peter is going through the most focused phase of his career; he really impressed me in the Toney rematch, and if he can replicate that performance he will win comfortably. I see Klitschko getting caught with a couple of bombs in round 3 or 4 and never recovering, maybe even getting blasted out.

As I have stated on a couple of occasions. I am big fan of Vitali. But Vitali has not fought in 4 years. No tuneup fight, nothing. I do not see Peter knocking Vitali out but I do see Peter possibly TKOing Vitali due to some type of injury or just Vitali succumbing to exhaustion or lack of stamina. I really hope I am wrong but I am preparing myself for it.

The only thing I'm worried about is the fights in Germany and Peter might get jobbed on the cards. I'll still lay down around $800, the odds are $2.60 on Peter, wtf, bookies are insanely underestimating the Nigerian
They must know something you obviously don't.

Why? Do you really think he looks like 40?? I think he looks young, under 30.

I also think Vitali is much overrated, even in his prime. Some even think hes a great heavyweight but the best wins he had was against out of shape Sanders and out of shape Kirk Johnson. Hide was also a credible win but Vitali was so much bigger physically and as you see today, Haye is a natural cruiserweight who cant take heavyweight punches. I cant see why Vitali has such a big status in heavyweight boxing. Peter is physically as big as Vitali or just a lil bit smaller, even though hes much shorter. But he has long arms and Vitalis defense was always a reflexe-thing and after such a long layoff i cant see it working as it used to with his lay back ****. I also expect him to be slower because the long break and just because hes older now.
Vitali will be a nice tune-up opponent before the rematch against Wladimir whos better than Vitali ever was.

In that case it is YOU who needs to study up a bit before scattering your opinions as facts, instead of aimless conjectures.

Klitschko won the last 2 rounds on the cards and in the eyes of the analysts. The 2 he lost were based on the cut eye in rd 3, a round he was winning big otherwise, and in rd 4 on a few uppercuts which Klitschko deflected as he was walking Lewis to the ropes. and which bothered him not at all.

That single 4th rd was the only one I could give Lewis, and, barely. I have over 50 years boxing experience, as a fighter, judge and observer, not to say, critic, and would back my opinion against yours any time.

And I'm not alone........... I think only Lewis thought he was winning...and you of course, and I'm doubtful about Lewis..

When Lewis reneged on the December return fight, Klitschko turned to Kirk Johnson. If you look up boxrec [since I'm sure you never heard of Kirk Johnson] you'll see that Klitschko tore him to pieces in a round and a half. [basically ended his career]. Johnson was Lewis' original opponent for whom Klitschko stepped in at less than 2 weeks notice. His only loss had been a DQ against John Ruiz.

Anyway, I don't see why I have to educate you any more than this, so goodbye.

I think the reason he has such big status is because since he began his career, [his first opponent had 9 fights already] except for a couple, all the boxers he faced were well experienced, not set-ups, and he absolutely destroyed them.

Except for the 2 rounds that Lewis was credited with, and the round that Chris Byrd won, where his rotator cuff was giving him hell (9th rd?) it's hard to find another round that any opponent won against him.

He fought everybody and treated them all the same, 34 KO's in 35 wins.

The lone survivor, Timo Hoffmann was as big as he, and was also a very good, ynbeaten fighter who won the EBU title.

                    Sorry error.

Sorry, Hoffmann drew for the EBU, but was WBO Intercontinental champ.

Klitschko also KO'd some good fighters-guys who'd never been KO'd before.
