Calzaghe is a great fighter, BUT he hasn't fought the best opposition due to various reasons. A lot of the reasons are his fault. Frank Warren was not lying about everything he said about Joe. He had been known to pull out of fights and not want to fight outside of England. The real test of his metal will be if he beats Roy, will he look to the winner of Dawson-Tarver AND Pavlik? Roy will be the first LHW he has faced, and the Dawson-Tarver winner will be the BEST LHW he will have faced.

Means ****. Toney was p4p #1 44-0 before his first loss and Hatton was recently p4p 43-0. Just because you're undefeated with 40+ wins doesn't guarantee you can't be beat, and that it means you're so great.

Mmm. Toney was P4P #1 in the world before his first loss too.

As good as i think Joe is, i don't think he'd be undefeated if he was fighting some of the P4P prime guys back when he was getting his pockets picked by Warren.

Some of Joe's opponents looked like blokes who Frank Warren picked up off the street and gave him a pair of gloves to fight Joe with.

Who you think? Roy Jones and...

(You can have James Toney even though the fat **** was at cruiser before Joe even beat Eubank)

Im not jealous of America. I feel that was a perfect analogy- lets see: some Americans believe that a true great heavyweight must be American. Not a 'Soviet' ala Wlad. Or any of the current top heavyweights. And b) that all fights 'abroad' have fixed judges. Apparently to stay in your own backyard is seen as cowardly. This is true. Then why don't many American boxers travel? Is this not the most laughable hippocritical piece of bull**** (appart from your post- which had nothing to do with being a constructive opinion) you've ever heard? It should be. Some people are just deluded...

I agree about the Americans not travelling thing. Complaining about what they don't do themselves is absurd.

I'm American. I believe Wlad is the best out there right now. However, he does not have the competition to truly be called great. Also, in addition those previous Heavies that had weak competition never got blown out multiple times by said weak opponents. That being said, he's still the best right now by a mile. I'm a big fan.

And again, I'm sorry the state of the world bothers you. Apparently most boxers and promoters seems to think the big money is in America, no matter what your opinion is. That has formed the opinions of the fans. Nevermind that for the last how many decades the best heavies have pretty much been American, and you can probably forgive some people for not knowing about Valuev's amateur background.

I think you're the one that's jealous. Also you didn't address the points where you called Sakio Bika a GREAT fighter. LOL.
