I wouldn't go that far that he has "absolutely" no chance.
      He has a chance.
As long as he uses his speed, in and out movement, avoid getting hit with Oscar's power shots, and not to get suckered in to going toe to toe with Oscar, I think he'll do just fine.....I think:

Look when Pacquiao fights someone a bit slower like Diaz, he doesnt get hit at all. i'm not saying he always had good defense, I'm just saying he's improved tons and oscar won't hit him that much, especialy early rounds.
If Marquez can land flush on Manny, Oscar will tatto his ass at will after mid-rounds. I like Marquez, he's been one of my favorite fighters for years, LONG before he was fashionable, but his handspeed is dismal for his weight class. Even in higher weight classes, his handspeed couldn't be considered notable. He's amazingly skilled, smart, tough, and heavy handed, but slow. And Oscar is quick even at his age, and at any weight class. He'll land often. The only thing in question here is how much it hurts Manny, and as far as I'm concerned, there's not much doubt...if Oscar lands a flush left hook, Manny is going down. He might get up (or might not...Oscar can ****, and he's twice Manny's size), but he is going down.

Marquez isn't slow...he's quicker than Oscar. what are you smoking? Marquez is a snappy fighter with plenty of hand speed, especially with his 4 punch combinations.

I'm not sure who's the better boxer, I find Marquez landing more than De La hoya does, even in his Prime. That's not a diss on De La hoyas accuracy..which was quite good also.

Marquez is very accurate, and an expert counterpuncher (best I've ever seen, and I've seen plenty), but I disagree that his handspeed is anything other than so-so. If he had quicker hands, he'd be nearly unstoppable. Hell, he's nearly that now.

Watch him against Manny again, or Casamayor. Even Casamayor is quicker. Marquez is just that good at everything else that his handspeed defficiency doesn't matter that much. I think that's also why he made himself into such a good counterpuncher....'cause he simply isn't going to land as much if he leads more than he counters.

And honestly, I think Marquez is the more highly skilled, easily, but Oscar is more consistant, has faster hands (for his size), and is a little smarter in the ring (not so easily drawn into a slugfest). The thing that always made Oscar stand out, to me, at least, was his ability to put together 8 or 10 punch combos so accurately. And yes, you're probably right about Oscar being more accurate, too, but I think that leads back to handspeed.
