I'm Filipino and I will go on record that Pacquiao has absolutely zero chance against Dela Hoya. This is a BS fight plain and simple.

I totally agree with Stickman. Manny is hittable and will possibly be weight drained so a knockout is Oscars only chance in my opinion. I think if manny keeps his speed a points win is right on the cards, very likely actually. However he has always had a suspect defence. Very suspect. Oscar lands that left hook too many times...? Goodnight Manny. But tbh I don't see anything but a Pacman points victory.

Currently Pacquiao's defense is not suspect. It is actually quite good, he slips punches and can avoid them very well. You are going by his fights with Barrera and Marquez, both of whome are expert punchers. I don't know anyone who fought those guys and came out completely unscathed.

Look when Pacquiao fights someone a bit slower like Diaz, he doesnt get hit at all. i'm not saying he always had good defense, I'm just saying he's improved tons and oscar won't hit him that much, especialy early rounds.
