His accuracy wasn't good either...he had a habit of pausing and waiting to land a powerful shot and many times it'd miss. Best to say that...you would expect SO MUCH more from someone with that kind of talent. How does a fighter with that kind of speed and reflex get hit soo much??
    That's a good question.

Yes i think he is a great.
But i also think he is well past his prime,
i always liked him he is a real gentlemen and also was a great boxer.
But i think he is well past his now and think he should call it a day after what happened the other night!
No way will he win another world championship

It's easy to say 'who did he beat except...', you can make just about any resume look bad by doing that.

The fight that made Sugar Shane Mosley.

A lot of fighters have had talent but Mosley put it to use. He has more than just speed and power.

a lot of valid criticism from El Dominicano

as much as i like Mosley i have to agree with most of what he says his defence is poor and his ability to adapt in fights is "0"

I agree with you. He should retire on this win IMO. He doesn't need to prove anything anymore. Actually, I'm looking forward to seeing his son in the near future! Carry out the Mosley boxing tradition.

Very true. I don't think the OP was trying to do that though. I think he was just saying that he was over rated somewhat.

He is exciting as hell to watch and only has 3 decision losses. He is a great fighter that deserves to be in the HOF IMO.

Wasn't accusin you in particular homey. My bad if you misinterpreted that. Just sayin one less than stellar night shouldn't draw criticism to his whole career and legacy imo.

I agree with this post 100 percent. Lets not forget Mayorga came really well prepared against Mosley, that's prob the best Mayorga I've seen in a while.
                    SSM is def HOF.

I can say ONE thing, He had the talent to hold the name Sugar. Think he would have been MUCH GREATER with a trainer like Floyd Sr.
