I still don't know what happened to Clottey Margarito 2. Wasn't that supposed to happen in the beginning of November?

He is not even a skinny willy fan. I stalked his profile and went through his posts. Never has he made a skinny willy appreciation thread and only talks about him in relation to Marg. He is flip sun of a gun that hates that multiple mexicans are on top, Marg being one of them. You know how it is for sonic flood, hes gotta wait a few months in between pacs fights for his boxing entertainment since hes the only elite flip.

Interesting fight. I think Clottey would pull of a close one. Paul is too easy to hit and Clottey likes to fight and does have some skills.

the clottey marg rematch was cancelled becuz tony wants 2 take the year off and come back in jan/feb. clotteys an opportunist. 1st he called out underdeveloped berto and now a paul williams whos gonna have trouble gettin back down to welter. its pretty smart that he picks when ppl are at their weakest 2 call them out. cant blame him hes gonna have trouble luring the bigger names

This fight makes TONS of sense, both these guys fought the #1 Welterweight Tony Margarito, let these two fools duke it out and unify the belts, the winner gets a crack at Margarito no excuses, right then and there. I actually like this matchup, Clottey would be the biggest test in Williams career, Josh is a solid ****ing fighter and I actually have him winning this fight. Make this **** happen, winner gets Margarito early 09.

I see Pwill busting him up. Can't see Clottey getting close enough to him. This fight would have to be on Pwill's terms since HE has the TV date and Clottey is fighting to become more than Arums unwanted stepchild. Arum is doing this to get Margs a break. The winner of this fight would not be able to fight Margs in 2 months turnaround, so now he can avoid Pwill, make a gimme defense and fight Cotto in June without being ridiculed. Arum is really hoping for a trilogy. We will see if Cotto can give him one.

Margarito wanted at least two months to prepare for a fight. When September 1 came and no fight was signed, they decided not to fight again this year.
