In response to my earlier news brief regarding WBO welterweight champion Paul Williams, BoxingScene.com was contacted by Vincent Scolpino, manager of IBF welterweight champ Joshua Clottey. Scolpino tells BoxingScene that Clottey is more than willing to fight Williams in a unification bout on November 29 on HBO. At the moment, Williams is without an opponent. [details]

Didn't Bob Arum say he would never do business with Al Haymon? But suddenly he will for this fight? HmmmmThis is nothing more than a feeble attempt by that prick Arum to knock off one opponent so Margarito will not have to fight both. If Williams wins, Arum will come up with an excuse to not make the fight. I'm willing to bet on that. This reminds me of when Chavez quit against Randall in their second fight and Don King did not attempt to make an immediate rematch. Instead he tried to match Randall with Whitaker. clottey vs williams is going to be a very good match if it happens, clottey is alot better than people think, i don't even know why so many people feel he lost to margarito.

He is not even a skinny willy fan. I stalked his profile and went through his posts. Never has he made a skinny willy appreciation thread and only talks about him in relation to Marg.
