Yes he did. Winky looked fat and ****. And he lost.

Tarver aint what he used to be? Hopkins is not anywhere near his prime?

But Calzaghe at 37 is just peaking.

    You're an idiot.

And schooling doesnt mean landing 4 good right hands in 12 rounds

You really do have full on American bias blinkers on.

First you criticise the entire SMW division bar the one significant American, who actually has proved some of the least at SMW. He would not be favourite against Kessler, no way.

I watched the first 5 rounds PRAYING Lacy pulled out a huge left hook never happened. I was speechless by the 10th round. I thought Calzaghe was a bum from England with his beat days behind him an Ottke like figure but hell Lacy was my favourite fighter at the time. Made me a Calzaghe fan.

Infact I put a $200 bet on that Lacy won in 6 rounds.

While this was a good win for Joe I think it is a little overstated given how poor Lacy has been found to be. I think the win over Kessler is more impressive and clearly Joe's marquee win. Few times have I been more impressed by a fighter than watching that one.

i lost ducats as well...i thought Lacy was gonna steamroll Joe and catch him...to hear Calzaghe utter 'he aint ****' in between the early rounds made it even worse...i was a huge Lacy fan, still root for him now And I can’t rag on the guy even though he got worked…he could have easily stayed in the US and kept his belt but he went to the UK looking to unify…something most champs wouldn’t really risk

I said Winky looked fat and ****. Winky is a similar age to Calzaghe, was made to look **** by Hopkins and lost the fight. Yet I can gurantee you wont criticise him.

And I said he landed 4 good right hands the entire fight. So that means he did **** all yet you think he won a 12 round fight.

You're one of the most ******ed posters on this forum and everyone knows it. I dunno why im wasting my time. Bored I guess.

I still hope Lacy can pull his left hook back out and be looked at as the force he was pre-Calzaghe. Even if he did take over SMW and managed to revive his career no one can ever look at him the same after the Calzaghe fight.

Hell I still pray that he can pull out one big left hook and KO Calzaghe now!
