I was there. Geovanny Caro reminded me of how Steven Luevano fight. I can't believe he had that many losses with the way he fought tonight. The 1st round was your typical feeling out round, it was an uneventful round. The fireworks started in the 2nd round. Caro was caught flushed in the chin in the 2nd round and went down, he was more stunned than hurt. The 3rd round saw Caro dishing out his double barrel attack that almost shut Abe's left eye, Abe also have a bad cut above his right eye, and it went Caro's way up to the 5th round. Concepcion came back strong in the next 2 rounds.
The 8th round was pretty weird, Concepcion was hurling his bombs while Caro managed to sneaked in his own licks when he got caught with a body punch! He went down acting like it was a low blow that felled him. The ref was behind the action and fell to Caro's acting, who was writhing in pain in the neutral corner. The ref deducted a point from Abe as he was already warned twice for low blows, but this one was a legitimate blow, it was right on the button/breadbasket.
Caro took almost 3 minutes before the fight resumed again and Concepcion came out like a mad man throwing haymakers from both hands. Caro went down and couldn't beat the count.
