Scoring the fight for Hopkins has nothing to do with being bias.
Associated Press, Yahoo, and ESPN scored the bout 114-113 for Hopkins.

        Biased, jingoistic Americans.

I watched the fight three times - Joe won a very clear decision.

Yes yes, all fights on American soil are robberies. Good call Tunney.

But Americans have so often said the same about German judges, or British judges, or judges from many other foriegn countries. Some of the worst robberies have been in the US!

Why are people not being "too grim" if they say the same about boxing judges in other countries?

                    No, not all.

                    But Holyfield-Lewis I, Meehan-Brewster, Casamayor(fights for American promoter)-Santa Cruz, De La Hoya-Sturm, Golota-Ruiz and many others were.

It's at least as difficult for a foriegner to win a decision in the US, as it is for an American boxer to win a decision in Europe.

I agree that if a round is close it will likely be scored for Jones, that is what happened against Tarver the first time, and Roy has that style that means when he lands it is very clear and impresses the judges, but do you really think that at no point will Calzaghe clearly and undeniably win rounds? Surely youdon't think they are that biased?
