You've fired off the generalizations and yanks enough times that throwing the word "all" in there is moot point. If you say SOME over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again you mean all.

Your opinion on the JT fights and the Winky fights is just that: an opinion. If you don't think after 40 each year can age you badly, and think that JC is great because of that win, then you are just a fanboy or biased. Take your pick. Again Hopkins was ripe for the taking at that point, as I outlined by his performance.

As for what Hopkins "did" in the fight being pathetic in a boxing match, once again you prove my point. The guy was old and clearly inactive and did not have the wind to be fighting at that level. Would you care to clue me in to all the things that Calzaghe did to Hopkins to get him to not throw punches?

Once again I detailed the actual match itself, Hopkins history of conditioning, and his declining activity level. I have enough experience in the sport to know what I'm seeing and I can tell when a fighter is shot for whatever reason (in this case: Age). The only valid point you have in all this is that he looked great against Tarver (a guy who was for whatever reason EVEN MORE inactive than Hopkins had been ever since the Taylor fights). Once again I've always said Joe is a good to great fighter and opinions vary on that and that's fine. But yet, you call my biased because I'm "coming after you". No. I just see that you are very biased.

And as for your sig- whatever. If you think I got worked up about it the jokes on you. The difference is I'm not going to listen to someone with that sig say they aren't biased. I'm going to laugh at them. If they are just "facts" why would you put an "owned" on there? Grow up man.

He was similarly inactive, boring and cheaty against Winky, yet he pulled out a pretty decisive win. You make a good point about Tarver and it applies to Winky too. Both were inactive and slow to pressure Hopkins. Joe was all over Hopkins, throwing leather whenever he could and moving him around the ring. He didnt land the shots he wanted to or give the performance he wanted because Hopkins spent most of the time fouling or hugging him. But you cant discount the fact that Joe's workrate was a significant factor in slowing Hopkins up.

I take it you saw him against Hopkins then. How about against Lacy and Kessler, two of the best boxing performances of recent years, and both different too.

I really hope Calzaghe does fight Pavlik, if he beats him it would be the biggest mass ownage this site has ever seen IMO.
