Don't ask why I don't respond to your posts anymore you ****ing dip**** troll. That's what happens when anyone tries to be civil with your ****** ass. You are a biased waste of space.

You're insecure. That's your intent, and it's in everything you post. News Flash: No one in America gives two ****s about you. Stop spending 90 percent of your time obsessing over us.

I DONT LIKE CALZ AT ALL BUT I DO RESPECT THE PIECES HE PAINTED WHEN HE FOUGHT LACY, KESSLER AND I HATE HOPKINS MORE THAN HIM SO I SAW HIM PLAING WITH THE OLD MAN.
AFTER FIGHTING RJJ A MATCH WITH PAVLIK WOULD CEMENT HIM WHE HE SAYS HE BELONGS WIN LOSE OR DRAW
If Joe fought Pavlik and got KO'd my initial response would be huge surprise! I strongly feel that Joe beats Pavlik fairly widely given the way their styles matchup, but, having said that, Joe is getting older and in the end every old fighter winds up losing to someone he and his fans thought he could beat, Joe isn't immune. A KO would be even more surprising to me than a decision loss, because Joe has never been stopped or close to it, and for all Pavlik hits hard I don't think this trend would be reversed.

As to what I would say about it, well, I would instantly have to revise my opinion of Pavlik upwards and i would certainly do this, considering he would have beaten the fighter I consider to be the worlds best talentwise. He would get credit from me for sure. As for whether i would make excuses for Calzaghe, well that would depend on how he looked in the fight. If he looked shot, obviously I would have to say so, but if he didn't, then I wouldn't.

Regarding the neccessity of the fight, my own view is that beating Pavlik does not prove anything that beating Kessler didn't, since both were young, prime champs and I actually think Kessler is better. It would be good for Joe's legacy in general though since Americans will always respect a fighter who beats Americans in America more. I hope the fight happens.

Cong**** to the OP. This may very well be the ******est thread of the week. The fact of the matter is, if someone is a fan of boxing, they like it all. It does not matter where its taking place. This is 2008 and thank god the internet allows anyone with acess to watch just about any fight they want. Just because its not on showtime or HBO doesnt mean US fans cant/dont watch it. As far as small time events go, people outside the US cant see what goes on here, just the same as US fans cant see what goes on outside. I hardly doubt the fans in Germany watch any more/less of boxing in asia then fans in the US do. Its not like the casual UK boxing watchers will watch a fight between Chirsitian Mijares and Vic Darchinyan. The thing to remember is a true fan will catch the fights, the light watcher just catches big events, this statement has no regard for country of origin.

                Thats actually a good post.

But it loses credibilty when the guy writing it has called Joe Calzaghe a bum who's fought nobody.

Absolute bull****. You can tell by our American friends on this board, that they do not watch classy fighters from Europe or Asia fight.

Just look at Calzaghe vs Kessler ratings.

Don't call a thread ******, when i have facts to prove you wrong.

I would be ashamed to write that about the great Joe Calzaghe.
