Good deal. Much needed exposure for a division that needs and deserves much more exposure than it gets. They have near heavyweight punching power with light heavyweight stamina... which is a pretty good combination.

After seeing Adamek fight Bell so well, I am looking forward to see him fight Cunningham. If he looks good again, I think there is something to be said for making the 175 limit, and how it affected Adamek against Dawson. He didn't look very impressive in that fight, but has clearly stepped his performance up in the cruiserweight division so far to this point.

      He has skills for sure.
Adamek is definitely above average, but he's up against a very good opponent.

After watching his fights with Huck and Wlodarczyk, I consider Cunningham to be underrated. However, Don King has been too lazy or uninterested to get him a fight earlier this year, so Steve may show some ring rust.

It will be a very good fight and it could go either way, but Cunningham will likely win a close decision.

I agree with that. Weird how some cruisers just sit on the shelf (Bell, Cunningham) only I think Cunningham wants to fight, and Bell didn't/doesn't.

Adamek is way better than average. IMO he is fighting the only cruiserweight who can beat him. Great fight.

Adamek's camp told the media before the Dawson fight that Adamek was killing himself to make 175...He was clearly affected and weight drained against Dawson.

Adamek is much more comfortable fighting at cruiserweight...he looked very impressive in his dominant 7th round TKO win over former champ Bell

I think Adamek will outwork Cunningham and win a close decision.

I've never seen Cunningham (which is a testament to the lack of exposure the division gets from US networks), but I have heard that he is pretty slick.

This almost seems like the fight between the best two in the division, but it is flying completely under the radar.

The kind of fight that takes a couple of years for most people to come around and say... Damn... that was a lot more important of a fight than we thought.

Cruisers never get much love period. Even after Holyfield-Qawi and the awesome Toney-Jirov war and Bell-Mormeck, Haye-Mormeck fights for whatever reason, that division just doesn't seem to interest the fans very much.

                It's a shame really.

Adamek and Cunningham are definitely the two best fighters in the division....This fight is for the REAL cruiserweight championship of the world.

Look out for Alexander Alexeev (15-0 14 KO's)... best cruiserweight prospect in the world...he kinda reminds me of Vassiliy Jirov...tough, hard hitting Russian southpaw.

I found this Cunningham promo vid.

Any truth to the rumor that Cunningham-vs-Adamek is on Versus?
