The fight for the IBF and Ring titles at cruiserweight between Steve Cunningham and Tomasz Adamek is on for Dec 11, according to reports in Poland.

This should be a great fight! I expect Cunningham to win a close decision.

I hope it's on versus. Too bad the contender hasn't started yet. They could have the contender finale be on the undercard of this fight.

They should also put it in chicago. Chicago close to philly (kinda...) and Adamek has a huge following here.

TRULY EXCELLENT MATCH UP.

I really like this fight. Adamek has took to cruiser well. He looked way too skinny and drained at light heavy.

In fact, he still looks kinda skinny at cruiser. He's a tough man with good skills. He will give Cunningham all he can handle.

The Adamek-Briggs fights which I went to both did killer biz in Chicago.
Adamek-Briggs 1 was at the United Center
23,000 people though saw Golota get annihilated by Brewster in 53 seconds so these fights made up for it.

Adamek-Briggs 2 was on the undercard of Valuev-Monte Barrett at the Allstate Arena.
It felt like I was in freakin Warsaw, Poland watching those fights.

Adamek needs more love. No one really talks about him on these boards in my opnion. It seems like every fight he is in is an action fight. Cunningham is very under appreciated along with Adamek. I think this fight is every hardcore fan dream. I wish that it might land on HBO and for one or both receive more recongintion for their skills, but they are out of TV dates. Showtime please... sorry Holt/Torres.
