Duran and its not even close. Just giving up like he did in that fight was terribe. I think he regrets it now for sure, a massive black mark on his legacy. The other two guys took a great deal of punishment in their fights, particularly Cotto, and I don't believe either deserved to be placed in the same category as Duran in this instance.

Duran was the only really disgraceful one on the list. Cotto ran out of gas and was going to get seriously hurt if that fight wasn't stopped. JCC was just way past his prime.

Mayweather should have fought Cotto, Margarito and Williams, but I wont call him a quitter or ducker since it appears he just lost the hunger to fight. Floyd doesn't need the money and he's walked away from the sport pretty healthy (except for his hands) when most don't.

If Floyd went ahead with his plan to rematch DLH, Hatton and then retired he should be getting the hate that he's getting now. It reminds me of the hate Barry Sanders got for retiring in his prime completely healthy, he just lost the hunger it takes to compete as a professional athlete. Fighters who lose the hunger but continue to fight for the money will have it almost always end badly for them.
