Foreman was a terrible commentator IMO. The only thing he added to the team was the occasional humorous moments where he had no clue what he was saying. Lampley and Larry exposed him on several occasions, I enjoyed them. George is a terrible, terrible commentator.

George Foreman is WRONG most of the time. maybe 80% of the time

"Fighter A can take fighter B's power shots' - George

5 seconds later fighter A is down on a body shot.

The results really suggest that foreman doesnt know **** about boxing

I would be more inclined to believe Foreman's ring analysis, or most fighter's ring analysis over a commentator's. You're right though George has been one dimensional at times when observing a fight, but at least he's not as senile as Merchant

They should get Bert Sugar to do some commentating and take Merchants place, that dude is really sharp and he's mad funny.

They should have a Foreman reunion special for Barrera-Naz 2.

Foreman got mad cause he liked Naz a lot. All the way through the fight he was on about "Ohh but he's gotta be careful, 1 shot from the prince could turn this around" and that, while he was getting schooled.

Foreman was pretty blatantly biased and unreasonable in most of his commentary. A much better fighter than analyst.

On a side note, if they're going to use a boxer-commentator they need to bring back Leonard. He had to be the best of the ones which have been tried.

Foremans bias is amusing. I remember the first Toney-Griffin fight, by everyones judgement a closely fought contest, after 12 rounds Lampley asks George how he scored it: Foreman, a huge Toney ballhugger, claimed he had a shut out for 'Lights Out'.
