Memetics tell us that "fads" have a lifespan of 5 years.

MMA has been around 22 years

More like boxing is gonna die out soon.

You don't have to look too far, just look at the PPV#s that the UFC brings in. The only boxing PPV that can stand up to it are DLJoto's PPVs and his @ss is already one foot out. Not only that, he has decided to join in the MMA party by signing a deal with @ffliction(traitor,lol)

22 years but only been popular for 4 years.

That's 'cause politicians to get their noses into it and the sport wasn't allowed in many sports. So, yeah prior to the Fertit&'s buyin' it it was almost dead. But MMA at the same time was doing well in Japan.

Anyway, I'm a boxing fan because I trained in it and know more about it. But the concept of MMA is great. I mean, it not only consists of punching, but kicking, elbowing, throws, submissions, locks, knees.

Agree they suck at everything but the ground game. Thats all they're good for the "Ground Game". I laugh everytime I see them punch.

I'm a judoka and a catcher whose wrestled in high school.

Catch is the one of the pure sets of American wrestling.

Just because there has been an influx of professional wrestling fan, doesn't mean that that's the base of MMA. If it was, there must've been a hell of a lot pro wrestling fans in Brazil, Holland and Russia.
