This was the overall PPV results for UFC, HBO and Wrestling in 2007/2006

    from

    # UFC - 4,885,000 ($194.5 million)(11)
    # HBO Boxing - 4,795,000 ($239.75 million)(8)
    # WWE - 2,797,000* (13 events included, 2 outstanding)

UFC had 11 PPVs events grossing $194.5 million with 4,885,000 buys
HBO had 8 PPV's events gorssing $239.75 million with 4,795,00 buys

This means that Boxing has had 3 less PPV events in 2007/2006 yet grossed more and had almost the same amount of buys at a higher price. I'd say boxing is doing fairly well.

also there are less boxers on a card than UFC anyways

EVEN IF UFC was beating boxing with a large fan base, who gives a ****?

boxing isnt going anywhere, there will always be boxers, and the sport will never "die".

in Boxing the only ones keeping the sport alive is actually foriegners

their ppv buys pale in comparison to MMA though.

The average Boxing ppv buyrate is 125-225k ppv buys all bought by **********.
Yes U.F.C is a huge threat. Everyone talks down on U.F.C but boxing has to do something!
