He's "the Ring #1", meaning either you rate him, or dismiss the entire division....

What I don’t get is the Pavlik hype. I mean the whole Taylor, Pavlik and Hopkins (BH over the top as was pointed out) soap we have seen the last years? Taylors questionable wins over Hopkins and Pavliks gift decision in the rematch against Taylor?? Now what makes Pavlik so damn special?

Abraham is the king at MW in my book.

It makes me laugh the way Americans call anyone who is a fan of a foreign boxer a homer, all the while being prepared to give credit to Americans....

Kessler is talked about because he is probably the most complete boxer under 30 that exists above middleweight. He shares the honour, along with Pavlik, Taylor, Abraham and Dawson, maybe a few others of being the immediate future of these divisions. Many observers feel that of the boxers I list, Kessler is probably the best. That is why he gets attention. If you are a boxing fan you should understand this completely.

I hate AMERICAN BOXERS and I am American. VIVA PANAMA.

Häußler that's who he's fighting. Thinks he's all cool with the umlauts and such.

Wait, I like Antonio Tarver partly because he's a southpaw and partly because most people on here hate him.

I get a pass on him right?

Hmm how strange, I like Tarver too, because he is funny.

so taylor beating bhop, or pavlik beating taylor is not as good as what abraham has done? yeah, ok. furthermore, pavlik was given a gift, and taylor robbed in the 2nd fight? what exactly makes abraham so special in regards to pavlik, or taylor? was or is he undisputed? did he beat bhop? or taylor? oh right, he beat miranda. i forgot, i guess that makes him the best. yeah, i think you should find a new hobby, or get better glasses as you are either blind, or incompetent! perhaps both?

I like Abraham. Next to Pavlik he's my dude at middleweight, fighting with broken jaw and all...and winning! Wowzer. Taylor...he seems too edgy. Hopkins, I don't like his clinchy style but hey, it works for him.

                    Simple.
Abraham has made 8 defenses of his IBF belt. Kelly recently took the belt from Taylor, who didn't look convincing in his previous against B.Hop ("over the top" as stated by the thread starter). I like Pavlik, and I'd like to see more, but the hype is just to much.

Would Kessler look better if Andrade, who he brilliantly outclassed, took the IBF belt from Bute in Okt.?

in all bhop's losses no one has ever beat him comvincingly, and never will. gimme a break. 8 defenses, lol. to mostly a bunch of ****in bums man. gimme a break. if anything abraham is the one who is overhyped. at least pavlik beat the man, yet abraham has never even had a fight with any of the former champs in bhop or taylor. he has had his strap way longer than anyone should, and had not stepped up toward unification. why is that? maybe because he stayed in germany, and never took the risk? abraham has done **** in reality to say he is better than pavlik, taylor, and bhop. stop reaching just because you like the dude. he is very limited, adn will lose to a top guy!
