Well in all fairness boxing really is geared towards the less fortunate and uneducated who would not have made anything of themselves otherwise. Almost all boxing success stories are the same. Rags to riches from poor humble beginnings or 2nd or 3rd generation prodigies

MMA however has recruitment programs getting guys who are completely satisfied with their dayjobs because they were relative badasses in other combat sports

Who cares what boxing haters think? You think people in Indiana care if I don't like NASCAR? You think people in Europe care if I don't like football/soccer?You think people in India care if I don't like cricket? I can go on and on... Some people don't like Boxing. I can deal with it, why do you deal with it?

Anderson Silva. He's the p4p number one. The same guy who wanted Roy Jones (that was more of a publicity stunt though). He's really technical unlike most bums there. Not because he's black, some white guy, Fedor Emilianenko is the top HW for the past well, since 2000 i think and he's awesome too.

Yeah. It's the "founding states" (Brazil, Japan, US, Russia) and a few provences really. It's getting up there though. There a regular schedule happening in England and The Phillipines and they just started to go pro in France.

Yeah, I watch MMA and have friends that compete in it and its cool but you throw in chuck liddel with 10 ounces in with a dude his same weight and decent skills, chuck getting koed.
The same can be said with MMA. Your facing natural martial artists who want to prove something in that ring. Guys who've been rolling since five.

It's 2008. No one can afford to be bullshidoist any longer.

Boxing isn't really a sport and it's not an art. It's just another veneue (sic) for un-educated balcks (sic)and hispanics to earn a living basicly (sic) because their (sic) too ignorant to get a real job. It's either that or jail....or in Mike Tysons (sic) case, both. The only reason that whites pay to see these "fights" is with the hope that they will eventually kill each other off....PS (sic) take ***** with you
Pointing out an idiot's mistake in Latin is fun. Of course by "balcks" he could have been referring to Caucasian people from Balkan states.

lol looking at royal burnells sig...

i dont watch UFC but i saw a tutorial of chuck liddell showing how to throw a right hand if you could call it that...just a loopy haymaker

i knew and stated that he would get KTFO eventually if he kept throwing that punch

and in the sig, there he goes with that ****** loopy right and he gets clocked in mid swing and is officially knocked the **** out

im pretty sure thats what would happen if those mma guys with ****ty swings got into the ring with a boxer or even the street octagon whatever

its the guys with good wrestling skills that would give the boxers problems, then its basically a 50/50 if a boxer can land first or a wrestler can take him down first...

(bit off topic i know) even though i just did it we should probably stop comparing them, they are different sports but i guess they are both fighting and thats what fascinates people

i think mma will start to develop the problems boxing has.....fighters getting greedy and pissed about money, dodgy promotions, greedy promoters etc but unlike boxing it wont survive through those issues because it doesnt have a strong foundation and tradition...its just taken off without building up like boxing did all those centuries ago
