And in boxing, that's what matters. Not how cute and technical you look against lesser fighters - we know TOO many fighters like that. The next elite fighter Mikkel Kessler BEATS will be the first.

It's true. It hurts a little as a big Kessler fan but his biggest win to this point is Mundine and that just doesn't get it done. As I have said previously, it is easy to look like a beast against Andrade and Beyer, but its what you do when you get in there against top guys that defines you as a fighter. Mikkel needs to prove himself against one of those guys, whether it be Pavlik, AA, Taylor or one of the LHWs.

Ha. Quote me: The only way Mikkel Kessler fights a Tarver, Dawson, or Johnson is if one of them loses badly. He'll fight that guy.

With all the talk of Calzaghe being all hype, Pavlik being all hype and Taylor being all hype but...only one fighter fits the description.

Guess who? The guy who touts Anthony Mundine among his greatest conquests.

Yeah, I don't understand why he won't go after better challenges. He himself has stated that he is sick of fighting the B class opposition like Sartison and Haussler. At the moment I am prepared to tolerate it and put it down to ordinary management, but if he doesn't step up after the Haussler fight and go up against a top or near top guy between 160 and 175 I am going to grow increasingly frustrated with him. I can see the talent is definately there, he just needs to step up and start proving himself.

What do you base this on, other than your usual obvious disdain for non-US boxers? Looking at Kessler's career I would say he has repeatedly shown willingness to follow the big fights. He won two belts and sought unification, in Calzaghe's backyard. Seems to me you are indulging in your own least favourite thing: speculation. Since we're doing so, I'll say that you might be right, but not for the reasons you think. IMO the only way any of those guys are going to agree to share a ring with Kessler is if they have nowhere else to go following that hypthetical loss. Until then, they'll avoid him.

Anyone with a brain can see this. But not Dirk the racist. HAHA, it's too easy.

Why are you talking to me after you ran away yesterday when I pointed out to you how Charles Brewer couldn't POSSIBLY be a top super middle if he had JUST lost his previous fight? Must be your usual obvious disdain for truth.

Unlike YOU, I don't have a bias that stops sense from seeping into my head. I don't care if a fighter is white or black, French or Ghanaian. I love the sport. Period. So when you bring up biases, take a LONG look in the mirror because your act is old, tired and quite frankly, pathetic.

ANYWAY...I've said it and we will see what happens. If he proves me wrong, so be it. He won't. There, I said it again. Kessler's a large super middle who could have easily moved to 175 if he sought a challenge. He probably brings in more money than Dawson & Johnson, why wouldn't they love to fight him? You think Antonio Tarver wouldn't?

Umm, once again I've been asking: WHO THE HELL has Kessler faced that is good to great?

I'm still waiting. I don't know about the "never step up to fight Tarver etc." but I do know that so far he's fought one guy who was elite and got his ass kicked. So I'm just wondering. Please don't tell me that Mundine is elite.

And why would any of those guys avoid Kessler? I mean has he challenged any of them? Considering Dawson and Tarver are champs I'm not really sure they should be doing the call outs. Just saying.

I replied to that, I thought you ran away.

What about my 'act' is pathetic exactly, is it because I disagree with you? I also love boxing, but my favourite is Calzaghe, you have others. Glen Johnson as far as I can tell.

Kessler's a talented boxer who should be able to beat any of the ancient relics at LHW and Chad Dawson too. He brings in less money than US domestic matchups though, why would they fight him? You think any of them would?

No you didn't. You said Brewer was among the three best super middles the US had to offer and Calzaghe beat him. I pointed out that couldn't be true because Antwun Echols stopped Brewer right before and Calzaghe opted to fight the loser. Your response was...?

Glen Johnson isn't even on my top 50 of favorite fighters. But you would think so...probably because I mentioned him in relation to Joe Calzaghe. LOL. You kill me.

Yeah, Kessler should be able to do a lot of things. Now tell me when he does it.
