Is Hopkins an ATG??

That's a great video, whoever posted that.
Anyway, I'm not a big fan of stats (20 title defenses, etc), but accomplishments and quality of opposition. Bernard Hopkins excels in both by a lot.
He dominated the middleweight division...he beat everyone. I mean, everyone. And his win over Felix Trinidad is really underrated on these boards. I hate to say this but...if you're one of those people that dismisses it, you're probably a relative newcomer to the sport. You'd never admit it on here but you know who you are.
To simply rebut that Trinidad was smaller is ****** for several reasons. Don't make me bring them up.
Furthermore, leaping TWO divisions and defeating another pound for pounder in Antonio Tarver is tremendous. Hopkins has been ranked pound for pound for over a decade...still! (Even though I don't believe he is at this stage). That said, his recent losses are heavily disputed and I, for one, believe he won the first Taylor fight with a couple rounds to spare.
Simply put, Hopkins isn't an All-Time Great, he's a true all-timer. And as boring as he is now is as exciting as he was in his prime. In both those eras Hopkins showed skills that should be appreciated in this age of the forgotten art.

Most of Roy Jones' fights were at 160.
He moved up to 168 because he couldn't make weight.
Then he was champ at 175.
Then heavyweight.
I guess we should poo-pooh his losses because he was a "natural" middle.
