Fernandez is a 41 year old cruiserweight who started at welterweight back in the mid-1980s. He'd been stopped in 13 of his previous 15 fights, including all of his last seven.

Why don't people like you ridicule Holmes like they do Fields and Chapman? Double standards.
I don't ever remember ridiculing either fields or chapman. neither fighter is very highly ranked or highly regarded so why do they even need to be ridiculed?

A little bird told me that Haye's TV contract overseas requires him to face someone ranked in the top ten from the four major sanctioning bodies ...

That is why he wants Chapman and not some of the others ...

Someone has Chapman ranked in top ten. I forget whom.

Next he will start considering the IBO one of the four major belts like Tarver. The problem is that most top 10 HW have at least decent power and most have very good chins. There are too many people he can fight that will probably beat him. This probably wouldn't have been a problem if GBP had some decent HW fighters signed. They try to shun the other promoters to keep all of the money for themselves. Don King is one of the most honest promoters out there now compared to Arum, GBP and Frank Warren.
