Hopefully fights with Chapman or Mercer will not happen. Eddie Chambers and even Kevin Johnson are better options.

Agreed. Or Calvin Brock, Brewster. Hell we would settle for Goofy Whittaker at this point. What a sucka.

Tony Thompson would be perfect, and he says he's willing.

        Why not, Haye?

But it sounds like this guy doesn't think he is ready for the fight. HE even said that HE is still developing. Shows Haye's opponents are getting weaker by the press release. Yuri "Get KTFO" Lawrence or Jeremy "Sleep With My Hands Up" Wiliams, come on down. You're the next contestants. He needs someone to KO for cheap money. I am sure they could use it after fighting on ESPN.

Haye is trying to pick this perfect opponent. He doesn't want to tarnish everyone's memory of him dominating Maccarinelli. Haye's new campaign at heavyweight is already looking shaky.. and he hasn't even stepped between the ropes yet.

Surely it can't be that hard to find a goddamn opponent.

What happen was he was being pressured in to something and
told it was today or die , Hell the last time that happen to be
I was 18 years old and somebody walked out of my house and
had a snowed me in to buying a f**king $1800 vacuum cleaner .
J.D never wanted to stay in Florida ,he is a simply kid with simply
Values. And like Dorthy on the Wizard of Oz , There is no place like
Home , There is no place like home !And if he don't wanna be a
last min opponent for what ever money while making a bundle
for a lawyer than could careless about him taking a fight that
he was simply unprepared for. Then he don't have to !And like
the article said.It was not in the plans for his manager to turn
promoter mid stream on course to a world title .There was
no plans of some lawyer to make deals for him and say he knows
whats best for the young fighter. If J.D. ever fights again I believe
things will be allot different and the will be no lawyer calling everybody
in the book trying to sale him to the highest bidder will be part of the deal !

So hopefully you'll take over as his promoter now, Stacy - you're the kind of person who will keep JD's best interests in mind. It seems to me that JD wasn't being used right by that Hirsch guy.
