Are American Heavyweights a bunch of gutless cowards?

No I do agree they are tedious. But hey make me laugh and it passes time at work. It's unfortunate that some take is so seriously. But the truth is, I'm just having fun. I mean either he's a racist nationalist and ignorant of boxing or he's just a bad troll. Either way, all in good fun.Comment

I am from the red white and blue but what you said is black and white...American heavyweights have gone soft...They have lost their hunger, determination and will to win...We may never see an American heavyweight champ again.
Eastern European heavyweights are stronger, tougher and hungrier....We will be dominating the heavyweight division for a very long time.
Its the Truth, though playboys over here in the states may not like it...
American heavyweights aren't really getting to the money!Comment

And you know Ive never been or live in America........how?Of course it is, because it's always you to do what you do best: hate Americans.
Take a look at the sports enrollment of NFL/NBA in the last 20 years and the coverage of boxing outside of Mike Tyson or Oscar in mainstream American sports.
But hey! you've never BEEN to America or lived here. So of course you'd make an opinion out of your ass.
Before you start, I spent almost every summer in the UK growing up.
Boxing is a much bigger sport in American than in most European countries with or without the NFL/NBA.
You've been producing the Heavyweights. They've just been ****e and gutless. Face facts and stop looking for cop outs.
You grew up in the UK? No wonder you're so bitter towards us. You should really let the traumas of your puberty go.Comment

Not all of the opinions I disagree with are ****, but some of them are, yes.
Look at it this way: Do you consider the typical Wlad Owns post to be of any value whatsoever?
You and I both know what he'll say before he says it. It'll be about how an Eastern European will 'brutally KO' a 'British hypejob' or 'fat bum American'.
You think Marciano ducked Patterson. Someone else thinks that Marciano is better than anyone who has come along since. If I held either of those opinions, I would rate the other one as ****, yes. As it is, I think both are wrong.
People are welcome to voice their opinions, just as I'm able to voice mine in response. I'm not saying that these people should be banned, just that I think the quality of discussion is very low.
I love you too honey

I agree with these posts. But it's pretty easy to see the reasons why. We are def. putting our C grade crop of "athletes" into the heavyweight division. Although I don't like rabid Easter Euro fanboys I find a lot to like in their heavyweights.
I just wish Wlad's chin was better and he connected more the common US public, it might help boxing come back in the states. But oh well, I'm still a fan.Comment

You're being ridiculous. The incentives to have ambitions as a pro boxer just aren't there for most U.S. athletes coming up. These kids now going through school with hoop and gridiron dreams are in a world where you'll be compensated for life before you slap a jersey on or put on a helmet at the pro level.. and these are just the career second stringers and bench warmers I'm talking about. Nevermind all the media attention the NFL/NBA get.And you know Ive never been or live in America........how?

The fact that U.S. boxing is getting the bottom of the barrel in athletic specimen for the heavyweight division is true just on sight.Comment

Not only that, football can get you a college education, and get paid by boosters if you pick the right school. You're being ridiculous. A boxer who doesn't make it, there is little chance for you to able to afford a college education based on their athletic abilities. Even if you don't make it as a pro football player, at least you get the opportunity to get decent education something that you can't get being a boxer.Comment
