Boxing is a much bigger sport in American than in most European countries with or without the NFL/NBA.

You've been producing the Heavyweights. They've just been ****e and gutless. Face facts and stop looking for cop outs.

You grew up in the UK? No wonder you're so bitter towards us. You should really let the traumas of your puberty go.
Yeah, I can tell by the way you post and the idiotic **** you write. If you'd been to America you'd realize boxing is NOT popular at all right now and hasn't been for some time. There are NO incentives in school for kids to go to boxing that can't be beat out by the NFL or the NBA by far. The heavyweight title doesn't matter in American sports anymore. You call these excuses because you're a pathetic, bitter, insecure small ****ed having ***** that simply spends 90 percent of his life hating on America and wishing you were American. It's obvious and it's sad.

And, Yes spending every other summer in the UK = growing up there. Yes. Your reading comprehension shines through ONCE AGAIN. And please point to where I am bitter towards England or the UK. Maybe it's just that I don't like nationalistic small minded ****s like you. You're a pathetic jackass that can't see how biased he is. Everyone is laughing at you.

I just wish Wlad's chin was better and he connected more the common US public, it might help boxing come back in the states. But oh well, I'm still a fan.
Yea.... I wish we had some heavyweights Trynna make these paper stacks like Muhhamed Ali... Gettin dollas like Joe Frazier... or makin moves such as Kenny Norton..... Eatin green like George Foreman..

      That would be so great...

This is all too much for Dirk Diggler the ****ing moron to comprehend. Nevermind that you see that American boxers are doing much better at the lower weights. Hmmm, I wonder why. Could it be that a guy at 150 or 160 is NOT going to be a linebacker in the NFL cause he's too small? NAH. Midget Floyd who is awesome, what were his options athletically other than boxing? NBA? NFL? **** no. And even then remeber his earlier career? Until he marketed himself as a PERSONALITY he made peanuts. That's the plight of the American boxer.

But don't worry about any of this, Dirk ****ing small ****ed Diggler has it figured out: all Yanks suck, and all Yanks hate the UK. Yup. Exactly.

Boxers in America CAN make good money. But the risk to reward ratio, vs. the easier money vs. the attention does not pan out for most prospects. I won't even get into the mismanaged US Olympic team, the crappy Olympic farm system lately, or your point about college. That's just all too obvious.

That would explain the presence of guys like Tunney on this board, right?

But boxing is a massive sport everywhere else and all the other countries are producing boxers from a machine. The ****s. So unfair on America and our tiny, poor country. Please help us. :wank:

Once again, Eastern Europeans are dominating for several reasons. Please name the professional sport that large big men have there that they can go into that pays more than boxing. This should be hilarious. 6'8 soccer players? Is that what you're going to sell to me? ****ing idiot.

Once again you show your inability to use basic reasoning and logic. You're so ****ing dumb and transparent it's scary. How much time do you sit around thinking about America and how much you hate it? It must suck to be you.

Steve Bunce is a moron with almost no knowledge of the sport. How many top heavyweights have come out of England in the last few years other than Lewis? The heavyweights have been ruled by Eastern Euros since Lewis retired. Not American, UK or any other country has been able to change that.

Agreed. And you only see the biggest morons on this website agreeing with him. No big shock there.

Anyway its true, we just dont have as many big, hungry black kids from the ****** making their way to the boxing gyms these days.
