There are NO incentives in school for kids to go to boxing that can't be beat out by the NFL or the NBA by far. The heavyweight title doesn't matter in American sports anymore. You call these excuses because you're a pathetic, bitter, insecure small ****ed having ***** that simply spends 90 percent of his life hating on America and wishing you were American. It's obvious and it's sad.

I agree with these posts. But it's pretty easy to see the reasons why. We are def. putting our C grade crop of "athletes" into the heavyweight division. Although I don't like rabid Easter Euro fanboys I find a lot to like in their heavyweights.

I just wish Wlad's chin was better and he connected more the common US public, it might help boxing come back in the states. But oh well, I'm still a fan.

Not only that, football can get you a college education, and get paid by boosters if you pick the right school.

A boxer who doesn't make it, there is little chance for you to able to afford a college education based on their athletic abilities. Even if you don't make it as a pro football player, at least you get the opportunity to get decent education something that you can't get being a boxer.

Could it be that a guy at 150 or 160 is NOT going to be a linebacker in the NFL cause he's too small? NAH. Midget Floyd who is awesome, what were his options athletically other than boxing? NBA?
