I don't know about the story being true, but he did look weird in that match.

    He looked "weird" ?

He has stamina & chin problems....which are magnified by a confidence problem.
He would have probably beaten Brewster had he not been KO'd by Sanders.
He was so TENSE when he couldn't get Brewtser out....he fell apart.

But to collapse like that and look so out of it?
It did look like something was wrong with him.
Maybe it's not the story everyone is spreading, maybe it is.
      We don't know.

Mike McCallum is an "A"-level opponent. Michael Nunn, Prince Charles Williams, Merqui Sosa, Reggie Johnson, Iran Barkley....
        EXCELLENT fighters.

I think you should stop talking now.
Did he fight them in their prime?
I'm going off of what I have seen of Toney lately.
I don't know of his past and honestly don't care to.
I simply do not like the ape.

          Nunn was in his prime.
McCallum was not, but was still a top-ten lb4lber when he fought Toney.
Johnson was approaching his prime. Barkley a little past but had just easily beaten Hearns (a second time) & Van Horn.

Do you know, that in '94...James Toney was the Ring Magazine's lb4lb best fighter ? Over Pernell Whitaker.
Do you think he reached that level by dusting stiffs ?

            Yeah.....that's fine & dandy.
But, don't knock his ability & don't argue with someone who isn't blinded to his ability by hatred.

              I didn't know that.
Like I said, I don't follow the career of Toney.
I just saw his fight with Holyfield and Jirov.
Well parts of it, I couldn't stand watching him.
I don't think he deserves any praise from those two fights.

I was talking about his fights with Holyfield and Jirov.
I didn't see any skills from him in those fights.
Then again, I didn't watch much because I can't stand Toney and he bored me.

Dr. Cynical I just gave you good Karma again. I had been trying to give you good Karma, but it wouldn't let me. It finally worked again. I like your new avatar. It is like a movie. I can't wait until your red line turns into a blue line.

You're not serious, are you ?
His fight with Jirov was an excellent fight....& I don't care how old Holyfield was, he took Holy apart, with great defense, combos, & body shots.

Can you tell me when Vitali Klitschko has shown boxing skills ?

Maybe it was, and maybe it wasn't.
I just didn't care to watch it anymore.

Why praise him for beating an old cruiserweight?
Pretty much any HW can beat Holyfield today.

To be honest, I didn't watch all of VK's fight with Sanders either.
It's hard for me to stay focused in a HW fight.
I just pick VK over Toney because of personal bias.
