I agree with TK Stewart's prediction. Guzman is going to be 28 and Nate. He has nothing to keep Campbell off of him and Nate has shown in his fight with Casamayor that he could be very effective at cutting off the ring effectively and Guzman is a lot smaller than Campbell and has been inactive. I like Campbell by unanimous decision. I just can't see Guzman being all of that effective at lightweight against the naturally bigger fighters.

How much smaller is guzman though really? I dunno, doesn't seem by too much (we'll see the weigh in pictures soon which will do more justice of course):

A fighter can look as big but not be as big naturally. Guzman is use to fighting fighters that are his size and Campbell has been bullying natural lightweights for about 3 years now and has started his career at a higher weight class than Guzman. Oh and don't take what i say about this particular fight too seriously, i have bias for Nate..lol.

yeah I understand what you mean, I just think 130 to 135 isn't that big of a deal. Like everyone was trippin on Pacman making the jump. 5 pounds isn't that much to be honest. 140 to 147 is a big deal. 160 to 174 etc. 130 and 135 is basically the same **** since there isn't a fighter out there that isn't losing the weight to make the class anyways. Like Guzman for example fights at almost 150 during the day of the fight. Against Soto he was 147 or 148, something like that. This just means he has 5 less pounds to lose.

Well Guzman did start his career at around featherweight so him being a natural featherweight and making the jump to lightweight and fighting naturally bigger fighters is a pretty big step up IMO. Lightweight has fighters that are a lot bigger and stronger and since Guzman didn't have much power at junior lightweight, then i figure it would be even worse at lightweight. Juan Diaz is a natural lightweight and Campbell had no problems pushing him back. Guzman needs a strong punch to keep Campbell off of him and if he doesn't have it, then Nate will be in his chest all day.
