Do you think Pernell Whitaker was a coward?
whitaker would stand toe to toe and avoid punches. that is not cowardly at all.

So Guzman doesn't do that either? He wont sit in the corner or against the ropes and slip punches and throw his own?

Believe me, this is a tough one to call. This is a fight that I can be wayyyy off on, but I'm going with my gut. When picking fights I try not to be mesmerized by the records and that usually serves me well.

Guzman is a Mayweather wannabe but has a lot less power, judges tend to favor them most of the time, Nate is a veteran warrior with descent power and above average skills. Nate need to put Guzman to the canvass to have a convincing win.

this fight is real close. But for those of u that think Nate campbell will win cuz of his punching power should analize the situation before running that ****in hole in ur face!!!!!!!.. Soto was a great boxer/puncher with real power and better accuracy then Nate, and he couldn't touch the Extremely slick guzman. I'm not a fan of either man, but power and size alone doesn't convince me on Campbell and guzman is better in every other category. Guzman by close UD

Campbell can box and punch, and he has a game plan to deal with the shoulder-rolling of Guzman. (I found out the hard way when I asked him. I got in Guzman's stance and Campbell proceeded to dig right hands into my left shoulder. Owwy!)

You just can't stand in front of a guy like Campbell and make him miss. You have to back him up as well. I don't think Guzman has enough to back Campbell up personally. Though he isn't undefeated by accident...
