if the ricky hatton of old shows up, which I highly doubt, then he should take a clear victory. The thing is that both hatton and paulie seem to have lost those characteristics that made them special. I think paulie due to all of his set backs from injuries and hattons relentless style have both caught up with them. Plus they both got whooped pretty bad in their lone defeats. Paulie recieved a beating for 12 rounds against cotto and hatton got knocked the **** out! By the feather-fisted mayweather.(mayweather was bigger though).. For these reasons I think it's a pretty damn even fight!.. I have no favorite in this one. May the best man win baby!

Some of the fighters from the Golden age would be spinning in their ****ing graves at this. Having only a few fights left for a guy with over forty fights under his belt who has been a linear champ and a two weight titlist is one thing, Malignaggi hasn't really done anything yet but he's talking like he's Rocky Marciano about to face off against Archie Moore. 26 fights?

Without reading about the hand thing, for a minute I thought he meant because he's been in so many wars. HAH! Sorry, I just knew that couldn't be what he was talking about. Good thing it wasn't.

It's totally understandable to make a claim like that. I don't blame him. I bet that **** starts to add up quick. One thing I've always liked about Malignaggi regardless of his inablility to score knockouts and flamboyant personality is that he is always real. When he ****s up he owns up to it and he gives guys respect who deserve it. I think he truly knows what his blessings are. Overall I like Malignaggi.

                1:48-1:51.

I was gonna type out a post, but **** it. Just watch 1:48-1:51. If he can do that to Cotto, he can do tha to Hatton. And that's all that matters. He's gonna have Hatton covering up a lot N'Dou style, I can tell you that.

what's your point? you don't have to be a big puncher to be a great boxer! paulie may not be the biggest hitter, but he is a pretty good boxer, and a tough mother****er. don't hate on the kid cause he has bad hands. all you just did was show your ignorance with that post.

I CANT STAND Paulie but, if hatton walks straight in I see maglinaggi's jab (the one punch he throws) landing a lot of the time. If paulie pumps that jabs and keeps away he has more than a legit shot. Id even go so far as to see him winning a boring decision.with that said, lets hope paulie stays within distance and hatton breaks some ****in ribs!!!

Not to take away from Malignaggi for a gutsy performance but Cotto's balance was off and Malignaggi caught him with a good shot at the right time.
