      Hahaha.

But on a serious note it is kind of distrubing how little respect our fighters get out here. After Kat's fight the other day I watched the news and there was like a 20 second story just before the weather. The only fighter that gets any news coverage really is Mundine and that is just because he is a bit of a ****.

Our media hypes and then brutalises all our sports stars. They'll leave Khan alone because he is a 21 year old, in fact I barely read a word about his loss in the papers.

The Khan hype has done alot of good things for British boxing, a lot of good things. Certainly one of the most important British boxers of the last decade despite probably not being able to cut it.

He: 1./Got boxing back on terrestrial television
2./ Brought wider focus to boxing in general, Calzaghe was screen on terrestrial TV-one sports personality of the year, Haye, Maccarinelli, Witter, Mitchell have also appeared.
3./ Increased funding through the lottery to amateur boxing

Not sure any of this **** is possible without Khan. He is a nationwide darling in his own right and a boxer, that's a good thing.
            New to boxing are you?
Calzaghe/Hatton had been drawing in alot of viewers when his fights were aired on ITV way before Khan was around lol.
As a matter of fact the fights that are shown on Skysports everyweek have alot of viewers (way before Khan also)
This just proves how some people believe the papers too much, the Khan hype has clearly gotten to you and you now believe that he is some type of messiah to the sport, Khan has done nothing for british boxing and nothing for british viewing.
I agree to some point that Khan has given boxing a sense of rebirth in the media world bust as far as on television....thats ridiculous.

Boxing has been a major sport in Britain for years, step you boxing knowledge up.

Haye Runs his mouth sooo much that he hypes his own self up. Too bad Klitchko will expose him next year...

Ya know, as much as Calzaghe has been pissing me off lately for being a lil ***** not taking the Pavlik fight and then going on to say all this bull**** why not, I don't know if he's actually hype. He has fought challengers that everyone wanted to see him face in the past and beat them usually in dominating fashion minus Hopkins. I think the hate with him is more so because he runs his mouth even after all the good he has done. He shouldn't talk bad about Pavlik or make excuses why he didn't take the fight when there is no real reason behind it. But yeah, Hatton is a definite overhyped turd whose only ****ty win(literally, lame performance), was against an aged and wrong time zoned Kostya Tszyu.
