Some of you people just dont get...I've never in my life seen a bunch of garbage in my life...Taylor has never ducked anyone and now he choices to fight Jeff Lacy over Froch and now some people want to call it a duck...I seriously dont understand some of you fans...Just because he doesnt want to fight him on you guys time doesnt mean he wont fight...some of you SO-CALLED fans need to learn to be patient!Comment

The difference is that Joe already had all the belts, was stepping up to LHW and had better more meaningful options on the table. Would you choose to fight to add the Ring LHW belt to your SMW crown against Hopkins or defend your WBC belt against Froch? Its a bit silly comparing the two circumstances, Joe chose the harder, better, more meaningful fight. Jeff lacy does not bring the same thing to the table.
However, if Joe were in Taylor's position, that is a non-titlist turning down the opportunity to fight for the most prestigious alphabet belt in a fight that could definitely be made, in favour of taking on an easy opponent, then I would say he was ducking him, yes.Comment

I hope he fights Froch...I've seen him on Showtime ( if I remember correctly) and he was a pretty good fighter...The only turn-off I have on him is that he gets hit to much IMO! He is a solid puncher with good hand speed. As you stated earlier Calzaghe didnt get KO...so why not let Taylor have a tune-up\confidence buider fight so he can be in the Title shot picture when his mind is 100% ready.
The point I want everybody to realize is that we as fans dont know how Taylor mind-frame is after the 2 losses to Pavlik..Is he still looming over the losses or his ready to jump back into action...We as fans dont know so I say let him have a tune-up to see were his focus is! I dont think that is asking to much from people (not you..just fans in general)Comment

Ugh Froch has power and chin NOTHING else. He's a powerful, average fighter with below average defense.Comment

But Taylor should beat Froch. Froch has a punchers chance against him. If Taylor wants a confidence builder before fighting bigger names, winning a title against the top contender in the division is a far better method than fighting a shot Lacy.

Taylors camp openly admitted they'll get more money for fighting Lacy.
Taylor can fight for a title(which I'm 90% sure he'd get if he actually fought for it). Or fight for money. He's paperchasing.Comment

alot of you guys are idiots..how is taylor ducking froch?? who is carl froch?? he's a nobody.. taylor has fought hopkins twice, wright, ouma, spinks, and pavlik twice in all consecutive fights.. all taylor does is fight top notch fighters.. give him his respect his resume is far superior than most fighters out nowadaysComment
