johnson has knocked out more heavyweights than haye.

power or not he can take haye out if he gets him late into the fight and tires him out.

my guess is team haye will want a 10 round fight.

      maybe you should watch wlad-brewster.

if you read anything about it, youd know that wlads blood sugar was 3-4x HIGHER than normal after the fight, im not one to agree with the whole poisoning thing, but i do believe something was truly wrong. by no means did wlads chin have anything to do with the loss against brewster, if you watch the replay, youll see that brewster didnt land anything truly clean, and wlad fell down from complete exhaustion. watch the ray mercer fight, wlad had some high output in that fight and was perfectly fine.

as for khan getting knocked out though... sometimes fighters just get caught man, it doesnt mean they are any less of great fighters, but if you get caught, you just get ****ing caught you know?

its not a bad option for his re-debut at HW, this johnson guy is an undefeated prospect. haye will have a few fights against undefeated prospects before stepping upto top 10, i reckon. anyone who steps into the ring with haye will be KO'd in devastating fashion.

wlad klitschko would wanna switch his style up and become very aggressive, if wlad fights haye with that lazy style - boring jab, right hand, clinch he will be KO'd early

this is a good matchup! two posing potshotters.
and realy, i thought hayes first hvwt opponent would be a creampuff.
kevin johnson is considered a bright prospect that has a lot of similarities style wise as haye.
this won't be easy for haye!

This is a weird fight. Kevin Johnson is really unknown, but he is a skilled fighter. Why would Haye take this risk? Is he that worried about being stopped? A Maskaev, Rahman, or any washed up fighter from the last generation makes more sense. They will be easier to beat and will look better on the resume at the same time.

After all of Haye's talk he finally takes a fight against a nobody and will expect to get a title shot off this...

I dont think its a bad choice of fight for Haye. Obviously you want to see him fight the top HW's in the world after he has been running his mouth but he still needs some practice fighting HW's. So a fighter with an unbeaten record isn't a bad option.

There are some seriously ignorant people in this thread Wlad Owns you are easily top of the tree.

I would bet my life that not one of the clowns in here hating have even seen Johnson fight.

                    Why do i think that?

Because if they had they would relise that unlike 99.9% of the HW division (Haye being the 00.1%) this guy is actualy a talented fighter.

Im a Haye fan but mark my words Johnson is a live threat in this fight, he's a live threat to anyone at HW.

                    PS.

I get the imprerssion no matter who Haye picked guys like Wlad Drone would still still spew hate and pick faults.

**** that ****. Haye should fight Klitschko (either), Peter, Chagaev, Ruiz, Maskaev, Valuev, Ibragimov, Toney, Rahman, Arreola, Thompson or NO ONE.
