this article is from yesterday. last nite i read on another site that there
will be two set of judges. one set being wbc and other set being local yokel
mis sis sippi ( sing to the tune of " MICKEY MOUSE " ).
so i think that means that it will not only be sanctioned by wbo but also wbc?

i think some are sleeping on this one. cherry is hungry. this could be a good one!

Cherry is definitely hungry, he has a family to feed and has been laboring or years on ESPN2 trying to get the big fights. I'm interested in this fight because I want to see how good Bradley is. I'm still not sure because he had an awkward style in front of him last time out.

Regardless of the reasoning, Cherry really shouldnt be getting a title shot. Urango, Bailey or even Witter deserve it more.

The WBC has a long history of being biased towards Mexican fighters. The first Ramirez-Whitaker heist was orchestrated by them. Just this year Sulaiman was quoted saying that he wouldn't allow Mexican fighters to be robbed anymore after a correct call in the Matsuda-Lopez fight. Here is a link:

I agree, completely, the WBC is garbage. Then again, so is the IBO, the WBO, WBA and all of the other sanctioning bodies.

No argument here. The IBF is on the bottom of my list because they are based in New Jersey and run by Americans. How embarrassing.

Here's the way I look at the governing bodies, they're bottom feeders. The IBO is in the same position the IBF was in when it first came out, they're jumping on all of these unworthy championship cards and sanctioning every fight they can get involved with, embarrassing. Juan Diaz-Michael Katsidis, a title fight? haha

WBA has regular and super champions and how many 115 pound champions? LOL

WBC, their press releases sound like mob dialogue.

That press release was the most bologna filled double-speak printed since **** Germany. What a bunch of goofballs getting their feelings hurt because they were finally refused complete control over a boxing event.

In every press release they talk about respect, all due respect, respectfully. Pay your respects, you know, like kickbacks. In boxing, sanctioning fees are essentially kickbacks.

Don Jose, is that like Don Corrleone? I can't make this stuff up.
