There's got to be a reason the local commission doesn't want the WBC involved.

Who cares screw the alphabets especially the WBC! They ruin boxing with their corrupt rankings and title stripping.

This is insane, The WBC is not refusing to sanction because Cherry is unworthy but because the Mississippi State Commission will not allow WBC neutral judges.

The WBC will not recognize the result and will instead buy tickets and seat their own "official" judges ringside who will then render the verdict that the WBC will ultimately recognize.

First the Soto thing (which was fair but unprecedented) and now this. The WBC thinks it can control the ****in sport. This is the end of boxing as we know it when horese**** like this can be thought up and passed off.
I read this three times. What a convaluted diatribe. Could this be any harder to understand?

Note to the WBC. Please practice clarity in your press releases. I know you can't do that in your BS rankings and still rake in your dough but man alive. That press release is pure and total trash.

If I'm being honest than I'd say that all of them are bad, with none being better than the others. All of them are in different peoples pockets too.

I think Cherry deserves a title shot, just not at 140 pounds. At 135 pounds he can do some serious work.

The WBC is not that pro-Mexico, just pro Chavez.

The WBC allowed Chavez to call the second Randall fight off and go to a TD. The WBC judges, not the Texas judges, scored the Whitaker fight a draw.
