what khan needed to do was after the first knockdown... he should have run around a little bit. jab from the outside, so he could get his senses back. then go for the attack. instead he went straight in against a dangerous puncher. that was his mistake.
He was in no position to do anything IMO. The second KD was only cosmetic. It was all over for Khan by then.

He was up too fast after the first KD. He should have stayed down for 8 to recover, but he got up at 3..

I doubt that it would have made any difference, but that's speculation anyway. I'm more surprised that he was allowed to continue considering this wasn't a championship fight of any kind.

It was the same ref who stopped the Calzaghe - Manfredo Jr. fight as well.

He would still have been stopped, But maybe not so fast and he would have had more of a chance at survival. He needs to learn to take an 8 count, he always jumps right up.

I agree on it being stopped, I thought the ref should have stopped it when he stumbled back into the corner.

Really??? I guess he wanted to be sure not to stand in line for early-stoppage critisism again then.

British refs are always bias. I'm surprised he didn't DQ Prescott for hitting too hard.

He need to learn not to drop his hands after every punch.

If Prescott had been knocked down like the first knockdown then the fight would have been stopped imo, it was because it was suppose to be Khan's night that the fight was allowed to continue, in the hope that he could turn the fight around. Even when he went down the 2nd time wasn't he given the 10 count before it stopped? Even though he was obviously done.

Yes he does, he has to sort his defense out period!
