Khan can't take a shot and he keeps his hands down. Maybe this will teach him a lesson and he will work more on his defence in training. If he doesn't, he will get KOed again.

he actually had his hands up the whole time, i just wonder if he has the reactions to block the shots because they were going right thru the guard. was he not reacting to them coming or was his guard blocking his view of the shots? i really dont know a lot of technical detail of boxing though so i wouldnt know much about the actual technique of blocking shots. maybe his reactions are just poor, he has fast hand speed but that seems to be more from predetermined combos that actual reacting to the opponent

Most fighters would of slipped the punches, it was Amirs lack of defence that screwed him over.

but is he not slipping them because he hasnt got the reactions, or is it more a technique thing is what i mean. ie. can it be corrected?

He needs to work a hell of a lot on his defence because his chin is awful and he will be KO'd again at some point. Even though those were some excellent shots by Prescott, he was already buckled by that jab and if you can't even take a strong jab then you're in trouble.

he always been chinny but i was shocked how he basically walked straight into the shots. that last left hook was bad ass! and he is lucky he was falling as Prescott swung that final right hand. it could have been lights out for good on his career if that had landed.

yeah i spotted the jab straight away it wast stiff and i dont think it alanded on the chin just on the head and khan legs went all funny for a half second.

as for the first left hook that wobbed khan, it was on the temple imo that would have shaken a few fighters but khan was all over the place.

i will say for the lad though he does have guts most fighters might not have even got up but khan does have spirit and has shown before that he can get up after a KD and win the fight its just this time the guy hittin him wasn't a featherweight - he was a real young hungry lightweight.

I gotta agree Bat, I thought he was out for the count. But he got right up, and was then put out for the count.

those KO shots were very heavy. to the temple and to the chin. they could knock out anybody.

what khan needed to do was after the first knockdown... he should have run around a little bit. jab from the outside, so he could get his senses back. then go for the attack. instead he went straight in against a dangerous puncher. that was his mistake.
