Not Impressed with Diaz

No his eye was the size of a softball with blood running in it. Fighting with one eye is hard enough. Fighting a guy like Nate Campbell is even harder.Comment

even if i were to nitpick over Juan's win last night, it would still be difficult to look for any negatives...he boxed very well...in fact, he looked extremely poised and dedicated to the jab and put in a trademark, workmanlike performance...
he showed heart in not only picking a tough opponent but also in the way he bounced back after his loss to nate...championship mettle? check!
i'd like to see him against the nate-guzman winnerComment

you are making excuses Campbell beat the fight outta him by going to his body
people like to think Diaz dropped off because the cut effected him wrong Campbell slowed him down with body shots Campbell is just a better fighterComment

Do you think Cuts effect fighters? When their eye is almost shut? In your opinion do you think a fighter is still able to fight to the best of his ability with those conditions?Comment

besides cotto i don't know of another under thirty fighter with the kind of punching technique than juan diaz.and he does not stop.Comment

yes i do think cuts effect fighters but it is something that particular fighter has to deal with
Diaz eye was not closed to the point where he could not see through it and it only got worse in the last few rounds IMO
bottom line is the better fighter won on the night thats all im sayingComment
