    Not Impressed with Diaz

Ok, I just watched the fight expecting to see a different and better Juan Diaz but i did not. Juan Diaz NEEDS A NEW TRAINER, also as i have said before Diaz should be at 130. He is way too pudgy at 135. I don't wanna hear none of that is baby fat bs. The kid is too small to be coming in at 135 and still be pudgy.

So my summary for recommendation for Diaz would be... loose the trainer get a new one that is going to teach him how to actually come forward and be effective, cause some chaos, teach him better balance and foot work so that when get gets in on the inside he is actually in a comfortable position and not on his heels.

If Diaz doesn't change anything what makes him think he is going to be any better than the guy that lost to Campbell. Diaz should get in contact with Jesus's Chavez trainer... they would match really good.

He put on a boxing clinic against a brawler. Many people thought Diaz would be ****** into a fight. He was not and just boxed him silly for 12 rounds. Almost a shut out. What else do you want

He did not put on a boxing clinic, Diaz missed a ton and got hit a ton. That is not a boxing clinic by any means.

He lost to Nate Campbell because of the cut over his eye. You all saw what he was capable of when he isnt distracted.

              Joe Chavez makes me comfortable

i think he did remarkably well...

He nearly pitched a shutout against katsidis...

going into the fight i thought it could go either way; a pick em fight...but after the first 2 or 3 rounds you could easily begin to see it was going to be all diaz...

could he do some things to get even better? sure; who couldnt...but he did very well and he's still young (24 years old) and he's already in the mix with the best of the division.

he still has to grow in terms of boxing knowledge and physically...

if he's gotten this far already imagine how good he can be in just 4 years if he continues to advance like he has been.

But you see thats where my problem lies. There is no doubt that he is a good fighter and that he did well in this fight.

But I don't see him advancing anymore. I believe he has peaked and gone as far as he is going to go without a big change in his camp.
