Fighters who need to step up!

Agreed that Hunter isn't the best trainer for them, and yes they have done very well against their opponents. I guess my problem is that after like 50+ fights between them, I would have liked to see them in there against someone who can challenge them. The fact that they're not leads me to believe that someone close to them feels they are not good enough yet, and if you aren't good enough to fight a good fighter after that many fights you never will be.

Also, there is one brother that I think might have a chance to win a title but I honeslty can't remember which one.

I agree with the bold wholeheartedly. A lot of people in DC feel the same about who they are fighting and that is they're hometown. They are in a place now where they have to step it up hold off on that for too much longer they are going to be in place where they are going to need to step aside. Hunter is terrible for them he doesn't really know what he doing with. Those dudes are boxers with decent power at best and he is trying to make them punchers.

Victor Ortiz looks like the real deal and believe it or not I have a gut feeling Chavez Jr. is too, but the comparison to his father and lack of quality opponents have definetly hurt him.(not financially though,which might be the reason his promoter is taking his time)

I think Thompson (Ring #9 when he fought Wlad), with his awkward southpaw style, long reach, and durability is one of the top ten heavyweights. He put up a better fight against Wlad than Byrd (Ring # 1 at the time) Brock (Ring #2 at the time) Austin (Wlad's IBF mandatory) and Brewster (Ring #7 if I remember correctly).

Thompson hadn't fought anyone that would lead you to believe he was a top 10 HW.

Wlad is trying to unify the heavyweight titles, so he needs to fight his mandatories - but you can't seem to appreciate that fact.
