I say NO...it all depends.... theres a lot of factor that has to be involved not just calling out a fighter in order to say that somebody is ducking anyone..

yeah, man. i agree. words like 'duck,' 'coward,' 'nuthugger,' 'p4p' etc. are thrown around so much on these days (especially on the internet) that i think a lot of people have forgotten what they mean.

i know it's idealistic and not how boxing actually works, but calling a fighter out shouldn't have anything to do with boxing. the number 1 guy should fight the number 2 guy. simple as that.

It doesn't mean much. There's more to it than simply "calling out" a fighter. Sometimes a fighter is told by his promoter to mention his fighter, maybe as a smokescreen, maybe to generate some interest, whatever.

But besides creating erections of some immature boxing fans who think it means something, it usually doesn't mean ****.

"Oh my god, Leonard was scared of Pryor because he didn't fight him after Pryor challenged him!!""

"Did you see Courtney Burton call out Mayweather after he beat Manfredy? Floyd is ducking Burton!!"

"So and so really wants to fight him!!! He called him out!!"

Grow up. The real "calling out" is when your team calls the other team and wants to get down to negotations.
