WASHINGTON, D.C. – WBO welterweight champion Paul Williams is one of the most imposing fighters in the sport today. Standing 6’2 and boasting an 81-inch reach, the Aiken, SC native is a difficult matchup for even the most seasoned boxer. If size and range weren’t enough to instill fear in the opposition, the 27-year-old is known for his relentless approach, often throwing over one hundred punches a round. [details]

He shouldn't have turned down the immediate rematch, and he shouldn't have lost to Quintana because even after avenging the loss, his stock has still taken a serious hit.
Does ANYONE really believe there was 4 million dollars for Margarito to fight him???Comment

no margarito would not make 4mil to fight him. WIlilams fan boys try to pretend like he will. It makes them feel good.Comment

It's not fear that is keeping the top names from fighting him,it's that no one outside the close boxing community knows who the hell he is! Why would any top name take a fight with him for no money when there are more well known fighters around to make serious dollars. Here's a hint to Williams and his management team, defend your title a few times without losing to the likes of Carlos Quintana and then call for some of the big boys.Comment
