Is Bernard Hopkins a boring fighter??

boring? not to me. he is an atg, and his fight with tito was one of thte best clinics i can remember.

I love the Hopkins-Trinidad fight.

I've never enjoyed a Bernard Hopkins fight. He's always lacked the fluid athletic movement of a Roy Jones, and is never willing to slug it out like Kelly Pavlik.

He compensates or his lack of athleticism by negating his opponents, doing excessive holding. He uses his head as a weapon because he doesn't punch hard enough. He'll push his opponent after a punch (like with Joe in round one), because he doesn't hit hard enough to really drop anybody.

No he's not. Am I really going to think my favorite fighter is boring?

That and I've never found him boring even at 40 plus. The only fight very close to it is Hopkins-Eastman.
