I voted no, Hopkins has crazy skill. Skill is what kicks in when old age moves in. A technician. lol I will watch a Hopkins fight anyday. His skill alone is never boring. Especially when he deals with good fighters. They never seem to look great against him.Gotta give Hopkins his props.

Yes he is, i had a hard time watching Calzaghe-Hopkins till the end. It was such an ugly fight. Calslappy didn't help either but hopkins just holds all the time and throws about 5 punches per round.

wow, this thread coming from a Wlad fan? LMAO!!

Hopkins last couple fights are nothing like what he was like his entire career. I can see how people think the way he fought winky and calzaghe as being boring, sure. To me I enjoy watching a ring technician at work, even at his old age. It's part of the fun now to see how SKILL ALONE (his is 43 years old after all) is keeping him competitive with top p4p opponents. Think about it - past age 40 he's fought Taylor, Tarver, Winky, Calzaghe and now Pavlik. That's damn impressive for anyone, let alone a 40+ year old fighter.

Hopkins was a more exciting fighter to watch back in his prime. His fights didn't have drama (aside from Echols II and Mercado I) but he has as much skill and experience as anybody.

I do have to admit that I'm not looking forward to any of his fights these days, he is just too old. I hate watching a boxer who can't do it quite as well as he used to.

Hopkins is a more defensive fighter because he's 43 and lacks the ability to pull the trigger consistantly for 12 rounds......whats Wlad's excuse for being so boring? I know the answer.....he's ALREADY been KTFO more than once, and this is the dude you choose to place your faith in? fall back......I'm waitin for your reply..ding ding "SekondzOut"

I said no. I am a fan of tactical fighters, and large fan of Hopkins, though.
Watching him dissect his opponent is always fun for me.
